Did you know your language has power?
Most of society is unaware of their language and communication style that leads right into poverty… right into their emotional and physical addictions.
To break through, it starts with using words of commitment and decision.
Let go of words like TRY and NEED. There is no power in these words. Rather than saying you need it or you’ll try… begin to use words that empower you like… I Am, Absolutely, Unequivocally, I Commit.
To become successful, you must use words that attract success.
When you change your language, you can unequivocally change your life. The more you understand the power of your words, the more you will begin to affirm and strengthen your belief and sense of certainty.
When your language style and words communicate that you will not back down, you are committed, and you will not be denied… then you have the power to breakthrough.
2. Why You Do What You Do
If you find you’re out of sequence in life, emotionally addicted… If you find yourself not where you want to be, then there’s a high probability you are holding on to situations that no longer serve you. You are living in cause and effect.
If you’ve been a career underachiever or an under-earner… but you know you have the talent, you know you have the goods, then there’s a reason that you do what you do.
Unfortunately, a large percent of society lives in denial. And “Denial ain’t just a river in Egypt.”
When you live in denial, some of the most common phrases you will use are…
“I don’t know.”
“I’m not sure.”
“I don’t know why I do this.”
Well… there is a REASON!
The reason is the cause. Most people live in the effect.
If you are going to break through, you have to gain an understanding and emotional awareness of why you do what you do.
When you know why you do it… you have the power to make a different choice. You can create new brain chemistry. Most importantly, you can change the identity that no longer serves you.
3. Your Dialogue With Money
Most of your education and perception of money comes from the home you grew up in. I often say that your dialogue with money is a direct reflection of spending the first 18 years of your life eating dinner with the wrong financial planners.
Of course, this is not black and white.
But, if you are in a place where you have reached your money lid… it’s time to sit down to connect the dots of why you do what you do with money… and why you think the way you think about money.
Many people live in poverty consciousness. What this means is there is an underlying sense of not deserving your desired goal. The key to changing your subconscious programming is to become explicitly aware of your own internal deserve quotient.
Once you understand that… you have a chance to change it.
Your deserve quotient is a gauge or the degree to which you believe you deserve what you seek in various areas of life. These deserve levels are self-chosen and can be changed.
4. Qualifying Prospects For Your Time
You’ll never become successful as network marketer or salesperson if you don’t master the skills of prospecting.
I know you’ve been told you are sharing… But the truth is when you are prospecting… you ARE trying to sell the prospect.
Yes… this is sales.
BUT… you aren’t trying to trick someone into starting in your business. You ARE NOT attempting to force a sale.
To become a professional, you learn to sort. It’s a qualification process.
You are seeking qualified individuals that are self-starters, self-motivated, entrepreneurial, coachable, and understand the value of investing in an opportunity to change the quality of their life.
Focus on qualifying them for your time, products, services, or business opportunity.
Prospecting IS NOT about telling.
Your main task is to ask questions and listen.
To succeed in sales, the questions you ask will allow you to uncover the challenges or problems your prospect has so that you can offer them a solution.
5. Becoming An Entrepreneur
The first step in being an entrepreneur is not so much the physical action of starting a business. It’s about deciding.
Unfortunately, this is what most people don’t do.
To succeed, you must first make a decision. That means you commit to a process where you learn the skills required to master your new craft.
You may not like what you do for a living, but as a society, we have been conditioned to accept this situation. There’s a level of comfort that keeps most people from taking risks that will eventually bring them the rewards they deserve.
Making a decision to own a business will be uncomfortable at times.
You may hear, “Grow up, get real, you’re a dreamer, stop chasing rainbows, you’re not smart enough, good enough,” and a multitude of reasons why you can’t, won’t, shouldn’t, couldn’t, and will be unable to make it in your own business.
This is why your decision and commitment are so important.
The average person is overwhelmed with “What to do?” This is the very reason that procrastination is so prevalent for the “want-to-be” success-seeker.
The “getting ready to get ready” mentality is a great diversion and a great way to fool yourself into thinking that you are doing something when you are doing nothing. Surprisingly, this is a byproduct of you being so accustomed to having someone else tell you what to do.
When you become a business owner… you have to be your own best employee. You have to be organized and create simple systems to operate your business.
Your ability to overcome adversity will be your greatest asset!
